Terms of Service & Conditions
Effective Date: August 21, 2026
Last Updated: August 21, 2026
Welcome to Childcare.Photography (“Childcare.Photography,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
These Terms of Service and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Childcare.Photography, including our website, photographer directory, listings, search tools, listing-claim features, reviews, messaging and inquiry features, lead-generation services, memberships, advertising, artificial intelligence features, and other related products and services (collectively, the “Services”).
By accessing or using Childcare.Photography, creating or claiming a listing, submitting information, purchasing a service, contacting a photographer through the platform, or otherwise using the Services, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Services.
1. About Childcare.Photography
Childcare.Photography is an independent directory and discovery platform designed to help users locate photographers and photography companies serving preschools, daycares, childcare centers, early-learning programs, schools, families, and related organizations.
Childcare.Photography is not a photography company, childcare provider, school, employment agency, licensing authority, insurance provider, law-enforcement agency, background-checking service, or representative of any photographer listed on the platform.
Photographers and photography businesses appearing on Childcare.Photography are independent third parties.
A listing on Childcare.Photography does not, by itself, constitute an endorsement, recommendation, certification, guarantee, approval, or representation concerning the photographer or business.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement to:
- create an account;
- claim or manage a business listing;
- purchase services;
- submit reviews;
- communicate with businesses through account-based features;
- submit quote requests;
- or otherwise use features requiring registration or consent.
Childcare.Photography is not intended for direct use by children.
Children should not create accounts, upload photographs, submit inquiries, provide personal information, or communicate directly with businesses through the platform.
3. Directory Listings
Childcare.Photography may contain:
- listings submitted directly by photographers;
- listings claimed and managed by photographers or authorized representatives;
- listings created by Childcare.Photography;
- listings compiled from publicly available business information;
- listings derived from business websites, public social-media pages, professional directories, public records, search engines, data providers, or other lawful sources.
A photographer or company may therefore appear in the directory before creating an account or claiming its listing.
4. Unclaimed Listings
A listing labeled “Unclaimed,” “Not Verified,” “Claim This Listing,” or similar means that the business has not yet taken control of that listing through our claiming process.
An unclaimed listing does not mean that the business has endorsed Childcare.Photography, entered into a commercial relationship with us, or verified all information appearing on the listing.
Business owners or authorized representatives may request to claim, update, correct, or otherwise address an eligible listing.
5. Listing Accuracy
We attempt to provide useful and accurate directory information, but we do not guarantee that every listing is complete, current, accurate, or error-free.
Information may change without notice, including:
- addresses;
- phone numbers;
- email addresses;
- websites;
- ownership;
- social-media accounts;
- services;
- service areas;
- pricing;
- availability;
- insurance;
- background-check status;
- certifications;
- licenses;
- operating status.
Users must independently confirm important information directly with the photographer or business before hiring or engaging them.
6. Claimed Listings
If you claim or manage a listing, you represent and warrant that:
- you own the business or are authorized to represent it;
- all information you provide is accurate and not misleading;
- you will make reasonable efforts to keep your listing current;
- you will not impersonate another person or business;
- you will not claim a listing you are not authorized to control;
- you have all rights and permissions necessary for any text, photographs, logos, videos, trademarks, or other materials you upload.
We may request evidence of ownership, employment, agency, or authorization before approving or maintaining a listing claim.
We may reject, reverse, suspend, or revoke a claim if we reasonably believe the claimant lacks authorization or has provided false or misleading information.
7. Verification, Background Checks and Insurance
Listings may display features, badges, terms, or attributes such as:
- Verified;
- Background Checked;
- Insured;
- Licensed;
- Preschool Specialist;
- Childcare Specialist;
- School Photography Specialist;
- Trusted;
- Featured;
- Founding Photographer;
- or similar designations.
Unless Childcare.Photography expressly states that we independently verified a specific credential, information appearing on a listing may be self-reported by the photographer or obtained from public information.
Childcare.Photography does not perform criminal background checks on every listed photographer.
A badge, listing feature, search category, membership status, or profile designation must not be interpreted as a guarantee that a photographer currently possesses any particular license, background screening, insurance policy, certification, clearance, or other credential.
Schools, childcare centers, parents, and other customers remain responsible for conducting any screening or due diligence they consider appropriate or that applicable law requires.
This may include confirming:
- criminal background checks;
- fingerprinting;
- sex-offender registry screening;
- school or childcare vendor requirements;
- references;
- liability insurance;
- business licenses;
- identification;
- safeguarding procedures;
- professional experience;
- privacy practices;
- and other qualifications.
8. Child Safety
The safety and privacy of children are critically important.
Photographers using or appearing on Childcare.Photography are solely responsible for complying with all applicable laws, regulations, school requirements, childcare-center policies, contractual requirements, and professional obligations relating to working with or photographing minors.
Depending on the situation, these responsibilities may include:
- parental or guardian consent;
- school authorization;
- childcare-center authorization;
- background screening;
- fingerprinting;
- supervision requirements;
- safeguarding procedures;
- photography releases;
- data protection;
- secure galleries;
- image-retention rules;
- employee and contractor screening;
- access to school property.
Childcare.Photography does not supervise photography sessions and cannot guarantee the conduct, suitability, qualifications, screening status, or safety practices of any photographer.
Suspicious, abusive, exploitative, fraudulent, or unsafe conduct should be reported to appropriate authorities where warranted and may also be reported to us at info@childcare.photography.
9. Photographs of Children
You may not upload, submit, publish, or distribute photographs or videos depicting minors unless you possess all rights, permissions, releases, consents, and lawful authority necessary to do so.
Photographers who upload images depicting children represent and warrant that they have obtained any required authorization from the appropriate:
- parent;
- legal guardian;
- school;
- preschool;
- daycare;
- childcare center;
- or other authorized party.
Childcare.Photography does not independently obtain model releases or parental consent for images uploaded by users or listing owners.
You may not upload:
- nude or sexually explicit images of minors;
- exploitative material;
- unlawfully obtained photographs;
- photographs that violate privacy rights;
- confidential images;
- content that unnecessarily identifies or exposes a child;
- images creating an unreasonable safety risk.
We may remove such material immediately and may suspend or terminate associated accounts.
Concerns involving an image of a child may be reported to info@childcare.photography.
10. Photographer Responsibilities
Photographers and photography businesses are solely responsible for their own:
- photography services;
- employees;
- contractors;
- contracts;
- pricing;
- scheduling;
- deposits;
- refunds;
- taxes;
- permits;
- insurance;
- background screening;
- equipment;
- image storage;
- client galleries;
- deliveries;
- customer service;
- copyrights;
- image releases;
- privacy practices;
- legal compliance.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, Childcare.Photography is not a party to agreements between photographers and customers.
Any contract for photography services is between the photographer and the customer.
11. Responsibilities of Schools, Childcare Centers, Parents and Customers
Users searching for photographers are responsible for evaluating whether a photographer is appropriate for their needs.
Before hiring a photographer, users should independently consider confirming:
- identity;
- references;
- background screening;
- insurance;
- professional experience;
- safeguarding procedures;
- pricing;
- contractual terms;
- privacy practices;
- image-security procedures;
- licenses or credentials where applicable.
Childcare.Photography is a discovery and research platform and should not replace independent due diligence.
12. Categories and Services
Directory categories such as:
- Preschool Photography;
- Daycare Photography;
- School Portraits;
- Picture Day;
- Graduation;
- Staff Photos;
- Sports & Events Photography;
- Digital Downloads;
- or other categories
are designed to make the directory easier to search.
A category does not guarantee that a photographer currently offers that service in every location or to every customer.
Users should confirm current services directly with the business.
13. Reviews and Ratings
Childcare.Photography may allow users to submit reviews, ratings, comments, photographs, or other contributions.
Reviews should reflect genuine firsthand experiences.
You may not submit content that is:
- knowingly false;
- deliberately misleading;
- defamatory;
- threatening;
- harassing;
- discriminatory;
- fraudulent;
- obscene;
- unlawful;
- submitted to manipulate ratings;
- based on an undisclosed paid arrangement;
- impersonating another person;
- infringing intellectual-property rights;
- revealing confidential information;
- exposing sensitive information about a child.
We may remove, investigate, restrict, or reject content that violates these Terms or threatens the integrity or safety of the platform.
Childcare.Photography is not required to resolve factual disputes between reviewers and businesses.
14. User-Submitted Content
You retain ownership of content you submit.
By submitting content to Childcare.Photography, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, sublicensable license to host, store, reproduce, resize, format, display, distribute, and use that content as reasonably necessary to operate, promote, improve, and market Childcare.Photography and the applicable listing.
You represent that you possess sufficient rights to grant this license.
15. Intellectual Property
The Childcare.Photography name, branding, website, original content, directory structure, software, database design, graphics, search systems, layouts, and other original materials are owned by or licensed to Childcare.Photography and protected by applicable law.
You may not, without authorization:
- copy substantial portions of the directory;
- scrape the directory;
- systematically harvest listings;
- reproduce the directory as a competing database;
- resell our database;
- use automated methods to extract substantial amounts of information;
- commercially exploit our original content.
Business names, logos, photographs, and trademarks within listings remain the property of their respective owners.
16. Copyright Complaints
If you believe content on Childcare.Photography infringes your copyright, contact:
Include enough information for us to identify:
- the copyrighted work;
- the allegedly infringing material;
- the relevant URL;
- your contact information;
- your relationship to the copyrighted work;
- a description of the alleged infringement.
We may remove or restrict access to disputed content while reviewing a complaint.
17. Search Results and Rankings
Search rankings, similar listings, recommended photographers, featured positions, geographic results, AI-assisted results, and other placements may be influenced by factors including:
- relevance;
- location;
- service area;
- category;
- listing completeness;
- membership status;
- featured status;
- user activity;
- available data;
- algorithmic relevance;
- sponsorship;
- other platform factors.
Childcare.Photography does not guarantee any photographer:
- a particular ranking;
- number of impressions;
- number of leads;
- bookings;
- revenue;
- page views;
- exclusivity.
Search algorithms and ranking methods may change at any time.
18. Artificial Intelligence Features
Childcare.Photography may use artificial intelligence, semantic search, embeddings, machine learning, automated categorization, or similar technology to help users discover photographers and interpret directory information.
AI-generated results may occasionally be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or unexpected.
AI results do not mean that a photographer has been independently:
- endorsed;
- vetted;
- approved;
- background checked;
- insured;
- licensed;
- or certified by Childcare.Photography.
Users remain responsible for independently verifying businesses.
Users must not submit sensitive or confidential information about individual children into AI search or conversational features.
19. Leads, Quote Requests and Inquiries
Childcare.Photography may enable users to contact photographers, submit inquiries, request quotes, or otherwise communicate with businesses.
We do not guarantee:
- that an inquiry is genuine;
- that a user will respond;
- that a photographer will respond;
- that a photographer will be hired;
- that a lead will produce revenue;
- that information submitted by a prospective customer is accurate.
Photographers remain responsible for complying with privacy, communications, anti-spam, telephone, email-marketing, and other applicable laws when responding to leads.
20. Paid Listings and Memberships
Childcare.Photography may offer:
- premium memberships;
- featured listings;
- sponsored listings;
- enhanced profiles;
- advertising;
- priority placement;
- lead-generation products;
- promotional services.
Pricing and applicable benefits will be disclosed at or before purchase.
Purchasing a paid service does not guarantee leads, bookings, revenue, search-engine rankings, directory rankings, traffic, or other commercial results.
21. Billing and Renewals
If a service is offered as a recurring subscription, you authorize Childcare.Photography and its payment processor to charge your selected payment method according to the billing schedule disclosed at purchase.
You are responsible for maintaining valid payment information.
You may cancel future renewal where cancellation functionality is provided.
Cancellation generally stops future renewal charges but does not automatically create a right to a refund for an already-paid billing period.
22. Refunds
Except where required by law or expressly stated at purchase, fees paid for memberships, featured placement, advertising, enhanced listings, directory services, or similar digital services are generally non-refundable after the service has begun.
We may issue refunds or credits at our discretion.
Nothing in this provision eliminates rights that applicable law does not permit consumers to waive.
23. Sponsored and Featured Listings
Some photographers may receive enhanced visibility because they purchased advertising, featured placement, sponsorship, premium membership, or another promotional service.
Payment for enhanced placement does not constitute an endorsement or certification of the photographer by Childcare.Photography.
24. Third-Party Services
Listings and website features may link to or rely on third-party services such as:
- photographer websites;
- social-media networks;
- maps;
- galleries;
- scheduling systems;
- analytics services;
- payment processors;
- artificial-intelligence providers;
- hosting providers.
Childcare.Photography does not control third-party services and is not responsible for their security, privacy practices, content, products, contracts, payments, tracking, or conduct.
Use of third-party services is subject to their own terms and policies.

- involve impersonation;
- involve fraud;
- create legal risk;
- are abusive;
- are no longer operating;
- are otherwise inappropriate for the directory.
We may request additional verification before restoring a listing or account.
